The Late Mrs. Aston
The funeral of the late Mrs. M. H. Aston, 2, Prospect Place, took place on Saturday, April 8th, at the local cemetery. The deceased lady was 43 years of age and had been a faithful member at the Primitive Methodist Church for a number of years. She leaves a large family to mourn her loss. The funeral was a large and representative one, the officiating minister being Mr. T. Keen. The chief mourners were: – Mr. Milson Aston (husband), Mr. James Pugsley (father), Mr. W.J. Aston (son), Albert and James Aston (sons), Mrs. B.M. Aston (daughter), Mr. and Mrs. I.W. Hunt (daughter and son-in-law), Mr. and Mrs. L. Taylor (sister and brother-in-law), Mr. and Mrs. L. Rees, Tredegar (sister and brother-in-law), Mrs. Evans (sister), Mrs. John Webb, Devon (sister-in-law), Mrs. Feiven (aunt), Mrs. A. Takel (cousin), Mr. James Takel (cousin), Messrs L. and J. Rees, Brynmenyn (nephews). The following wreaths were sent: – Husband and children; father (Mr. James Pugsley); Mr. and Mrs. C. Aston (father-in-law and mother-in-law); Miriam, Nell, Roland, Lottie, and John; Mrs. A. Takel, Brynmenyn; Mrs. Shakespeare, Pontycymmer; Mr. and Mrs. G. Aston.
