Former Lacrosse Star, Joseph Barnett, Dies
TORONTO (CP) - Peter (Pete) Joseph Barnett, former well-known lacrosse player, died Wednesday after a heart attack. 
In his youth he played for teams in Toronto and St. Catharines. He was president of the Old Boys Lacrosse Association.
Born in St. Catharines, he was with the federal customs and excise department for 37 years until his retirement seven years ago.
Survivors include four daughters and two sons.
