WILLIAM ROBERT COLE

William Robert Cole, R2 LaSalette, died Saturday at District Memorial Hospital, Tillsonburg, after a short illness. Born in South Norwich Township, near New Road, nearly 54 years ago, Mr. Cole lived at Hamilton and Tillsonburg. He lived at Hawtrey for the past 20 years, working on tobacco farms. Surviving besides his wife, the former Marjorie Grace Holt, are one son, Jack, of London; one daughter, Miss Mary, of Tillsonburg; two sisters, Mrs. Gordon Rohner, of Tillsonburg and Mrs. Frank Winn, of Hamilton; three grandchildren. Mr. Cole is at the Addison Funeral Home in Otterville for service Tuesday at 2 p.m. Rev. Thomas D. Lindsay, of Otterville United Church, will officiate. Interment will be in the New Road Cemetery.

TILLSONBURG – Miss Mary Cole of Tillsonburg is a surviving daughter of William Robert Cole, 53 of R2 LaSalette, who died Saturday at the Tillsonburg District Hospital. He was a lifelong resident of the area. Others surviving are his wife, the former Marjorie Grace Holt; a son, Jack, of London; two sisters, Mrs. Gordon Rohrer, Tillsonburg, and Mrs. Frank Winn of Hamilton; three grandchildren. The funeral service will be at the Addison Funeral Home, Otterville, Tuesday at 2 p.m. Interment will be in New Road Cemetery.
